The honor system.

We don’t use license keys or DRM. If you’re a trainer or use LiftPress as part of your work with clients, the Trainer license is the right choice. We trust you to pick the one that fits. A trainer with even one paying client earns the difference back quickly, and it directly supports continued development of the plugin.

Active Workout Mode Add-On

Frequently asked

Does this work with my current WordPress theme?

Yes. LiftPress uses its own CSS design system and injects styles independently of your theme. It’s been tested with Astra, GeneratePress, Blocksy, OceanWP, and Divi. The one-click setup creates dedicated pages that work with any theme out of the box.

I’m a beginner – will I be overwhelmed?

Not at all. The one-click setup creates all your pages automatically. The Quick Setup guide walks you through exactly what to do first. Premade programs tell you exactly what to do each day. The exercise library has form tips built in. LiftPress is intentionally designed so beginners can start logging their first workout within minutes of installing.

I’m an advanced lifter – is it detailed enough?

Yes. LiftPress supports per-set logging where each set has its own reps, weight, and notes. You can log multiple sessions in one entry (e.g., a heavy squat session, then a Peloton ride). Calories burned are estimated from MET values per exercise. Progress charts show your lift progression over weeks and months. The readiness scoring system is built for athletes who take recovery seriously.

Can I track Peloton rides specifically?

Yes. Peloton Ride is one of 14+ built-in cardio types. It has dedicated fields for output (kJ), average watts, cadence, resistance, calories burned, heart rate, class type (HIIT, Zone 2, Power Zone, Climb, etc.), and instructor. All data appears in your stats strip and is included in calorie burn totals.

Can I add exercises that aren’t in the library?

Yes. The Custom Exercises admin page lets you add any movement with its name, category, primary and secondary muscles, MET value, and equipment type. Your custom exercises appear in the search autocomplete alongside the 400+ built-ins.

Do multiple users each get their own journal?

Yes. Each WordPress user account has their own journal entries, achievement progress, profile page, and workout history. The shortcodes accept a user_id parameter so you can display any user’s data.

I’m a trainer – can I use this for my clients?

Yes, with the Trainer license. The Trainer license explicitly covers using LiftPress on client-facing sites and as part of your professional work. Each client gets their own WordPress user account with their own separate journal, history, and achievements. The Trainer license is the right way to use it professionally and directly supports continued development.

What happens after 1 year – do I lose access?

No. Your purchase gives you permanent access to the version you bought. After 1 year, you just don’t receive new feature updates unless you renew. Your plugin continues working and your data is always yours.
